Anita Alvarez to mentor students in Los Angeles as part of new initiative

Anita Alvarez, a three-time Olympian from Kenmore, New York, will mentor students in Los Angeles this school year. The initiative, launched by USA Artistic Swimming and Classroom Champions, aims to teach teamwork and leadership skills through the participation of Olympic athletes. Alvarez, a silver medalist at the Paris 2024 Olympics and a prominent figure in artistic swimming, will focus on building student confidence. Four Team USA artistic swimmers have been selected for this program, which targets students in grades K-8.
