England has appointed Anna Stembridge as head coach through to the 2027 Netball World Cup, which will be held in Sydney. Stembridge, who served as interim head coach since March, was confirmed after failing to secure a medal at the Commonwealth Games in August. She previously led the Roses from 2011 to 2015, achieving a fourth-place finish at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and a series win against Australia in 2013. Joining her coaching staff are Tamsin Greenway and Jo Harten, both celebrated figures in English netball. Stembridge aims to build on the team's experiences from the Commonwealth Games in preparation for the World Cup next summer, which runs from August 25 to September 5.
