Anthony Eyanson continues strong performance with Double-A Chesapeake Baysox

Anthony Eyanson delivered another impressive outing for the Double-A Chesapeake Baysox on Thursday, lowering his ERA to 1.51. In a game against the Harrisburg Senators, he pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, striking out eight batters. Eyanson has been performing consistently since his trade from the Boston Red Sox to the Baltimore Orioles this summer, posting a 2.14 ERA and 32 strikeouts over 21 innings in four starts for the Baysox. His previous outing on August 20 saw him pitch seven innings while allowing just one run. Eyanson began the 2026 season with the High-A Greenville Drive and has compiled a 6-1 record across all teams this season.
