Anthony Eyanson excels with Portland Sea Dogs in Double-A start

Anthony Eyanson, a former LSU baseball pitcher, put forth an impressive performance for the Portland Sea Dogs on June 21 against the Somerset Patriots. He pitched four scoreless innings, striking out five while allowing three hits and one walk. Since his call-up from High-A in May, Eyanson has made six starts, amassing 28 strikeouts over 24.2 innings. Currently in his first professional season, he holds a 1.00 ERA and 0.84 WHIP through 11 starts. Eyanson, ranked No. 67 overall among MLB prospects and No. 2 in the Red Sox organization, was selected in the 2025 MLB Draft after winning a national championship at LSU.
