Anthony Taylor put on a show at Saturday’s Misfits Boxing: Eddie Hall vs. Tommy Fury event, but probably not the kind he wanted to. The light heavyweight champion’s title defense ended in a disappointing no-contest after Taylor was rendered unable to continue as he complained of an eye injury in the fifth round. A Matty Floyd jab appeared to stun Taylor, who retreated and then loudly protested an issue with his eye. Eventually, the bout was waved off and the bout was ruled a no-contest. Afterwards, a furious Taylor rushed across the ring to attack Floyd, but was quickly stopped by security and cornermen. Watch Taylor’s post-fight attack below. Taylor remained in hysterics after being separated from Floyd, lying on the mat for a while before being assisted out of the ring.
