Antonio Williams prepares for NFL debut against Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Commanders rookie wide receiver Antonio Williams will make his NFL debut this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. A third-round selection out of Clemson, Williams recorded over 900 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns during his 2024 college season. The rookie expects nerves on his first NFL snap but anticipates settling into the game once the action begins. Washington faces a unique scheduling challenge this year, as the team opens with two consecutive road games. Consequently, Williams and the other Commanders rookies will not appear at a home game until the Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. This marks the first time since 2012 that the franchise has started a season with back-to-back games on the road.
