Aoba Fujino signs contract extension with Manchester City until 2030

Manchester City forward Aoba Fujino has signed a long-term contract extension, committing to the club through the summer of 2030. The 22-year-old Japanese international joined the squad in 2024 from the Tokyo Verdy Beleza. Since her arrival, she has contributed to a successful tenure that includes winning both the Barclays Women’s Super League and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. Fujino has recorded 11 goals across 52 appearances for the club in all competitions to date. Following the contract agreement, the forward expressed her intent to further her development within the team environment. Manchester City is scheduled to face Aston Villa at Villa Park this Sunday.
