Applications to volunteer at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games will open on July 14. The volunteering roles are organized into nine categories: Ceremonies, Communications, Driving, Experience, Medical, Operations, Sport, Technology, and Volunteer eligibility. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, proficient in English, and available for a minimum of 10 shifts. The shifts are unpaid, and volunteer roles are open to non-U.S. citizens. In preparation for the Games, the LA28 Volunteer Crew is also involved in local sustainability initiatives through early volunteer events.
