Alberto Aquilani and Ignazio Abate are both under consideration for coaching positions at Sassuolo and Torino. With Fabio Grosso expected to depart Sassuolo for Fiorentina and Torino looking to replace Roberto D’Aversa, both clubs have narrowed their search to these two candidates. Aquilani has experience from the Fiorentina youth academy and recently led Catanzaro near promotion from Serie B. Abate, a former Milan defender, has also been coaching in Serie B with Juve Stabia.
