Arch Manning, CJ Carr, Gunner Stockton named Unitas Award semifinalists

Fifteen quarterbacks have been announced as semifinalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, including Arch Manning from Texas, CJ Carr from Notre Dame, and Gunner Stockton from Georgia. All three are leading undefeated teams, with Texas ranked No. 1, Georgia No. 2, and Notre Dame No. 3 in the AP Top 25. Manning's Longhorns are 4-0 heading into a matchup against Oklahoma, while Carr and Stockton have also achieved perfect starts for their respective teams. The semifinalists were selected from an initial watch list that began with 27 players and will be trimmed down for the final award presentation.
