Arch Manning could transfer to Ole Miss, insider predicts

Arch Manning's future with the Texas Longhorns is uncertain, with speculation about a possible transfer to Ole Miss in 2027. After a strong 2026 season and a comeback victory against Ohio State, Manning has struggled in recent games, throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions against SEC rivals. Longtime insider Tom Pelissero suggested the possibility of Manning moving, indicating that someone close to him believes Ole Miss could be his next destination. Reports also mention that redshirt freshman quarterback KJ Lacey Jr. is set to receive more first-team practice reps, adding to the questions surrounding Manning's position. Manning's status is expected to be a topic of discussion as the season progresses.
