Arden Key discusses Colts' defensive end position battle this summer

Arden Key addressed the competition for the starting defensive end position with the Indianapolis Colts on June 9, 2026. Key emphasized that consistency will be crucial for securing the role opposite Laiatu Latu. Fellow competitor Jaylahn Tuimoloau played limited snaps in his rookie season, while Key has experience but seeks greater impact this season. The Colts aim to improve their pass rush, which ranked 30th in ESPN’s metrics last year. Key is prepared to contribute to both pass rush and run defense as the team positions itself for the upcoming campaign.
