Area players make fast starts as fall sports season begins

The fall sports season has begun for various high school teams in Chillicothe, prompting standout performances from multiple athletes. Chillicothe’s Marisa Stiteler achieved 21 kills and 12 blocks in three volleyball matches. Unioto’s Elliana Myers scored eight of her team's 11 goals in soccer, while Adena's Jacey Jones added 14 kills in their opening match. The boys' soccer program from Chillicothe experienced a 1-1 start, with Eli Esham securing a shutout in one of the games. Zane Trace’s boys soccer team made an impressive start by winning its first two matches.
