Arijanet Muric leaves Ipswich Town to join Sassuolo permanently

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Arijanet Muric has completed a permanent transfer to Serie A side Sassuolo as of June 1, 2026. The move follows a successful loan spell at Sassuolo during the previous season, where he made 32 appearances and helped secure six clean sheets. Muric joined Ipswich from Burnley in July 2024 but played only 18 league matches for the team, contributing to their relegation from the Premier League. Sassuolo exercised their option to make Muric's transfer permanent for an undisclosed fee, further strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
