Arizona athletics programs announce fall schedules and coaching staff updates

The Arizona triathlon program opened its 2026 campaign with a victory at the Duquesne Cup. Senior Kelly Wetteland secured the individual win with a time of 1:00:44.35, leading a group of 11 Wildcats who finished within the top 13 spots. In other developments, Arizona men's tennis coach Clancy Shields appointed Mitch Stewart as an assistant coach. The men's tennis team prepares for the Wildcat Invite in Tucson next week, while the women's tennis team begins its fall slate at the ITA All-Americans in Cary, North Carolina, later this month. Additionally, the Arizona cross country program hosts the Dave Murray Invitational this Friday at Silverlake Park. The men's team enters the competition ranked No. 5 in the West Region. Swimming and diving also released a full schedule, with the Red vs. Blue Intrasquad meet set for October 2.
