Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Beck returns to practice after rib injury

Summary

The Arizona Cardinals confirmed rookie quarterback Carson Beck returned to team practice Monday following a rib injury sustained during the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. Head coach Mike LaFleur announced the recovery update, noting that Beck will remain on the active 53-man roster rather than being placed on injured reserve. The team now enters full preparation for its September 13 season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jacoby Brissett is set to serve as the starter for the beginning of the regular season. While Beck has been cleared for activity, the team has not indicated a specific timeline for his first NFL start, citing a challenging schedule over the first 10 games.
