Arizona Cardinals sign defensive end Jared Harrison-Hunte to practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals signed defensive end Jared Harrison-Hunte to their practice squad on Tuesday. The move comes following the defensive lineman's release from the Carolina Panthers during their initial 53-man roster cutdown this past Sunday. Harrison-Hunte originally joined the Carolina Panthers in the spring of 2025 as an undrafted free agent after a collegiate career at Southern Methodist University. During his time with the Carolina Panthers organization, the 6-foot-4, 294-pound defender spent the majority of the 2025 season on the practice squad. The Arizona Cardinals scouting department gained familiarity with the player during the August 6 Hall of Fame Game. In that contest, Harrison-Hunte recorded a sack against rookie quarterback Carson Beck during a game the Carolina Panthers finished with a 33-30 victory.
