Corbin Burnes returned to the mound for his season debut, pitching three scoreless innings in his first major league appearance in 464 days. The Diamondbacks offense remained quiet until an eighth-inning sacrifice fly by Perdomo and a ninth-inning home run by Tim Tawa. Blake Walston earned a win after providing two scoreless innings of relief in his return from the injured list. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit an RBI triple in the 11th inning to break the tie.
