Arizona pushed No. 10 Creighton to five sets on Friday before ultimately falling 3-2. The match scores favored Creighton 24-26, 25-19, 25-19, 18-25, 12-15. Senior outside hitter Destiny Ndam-Simpson led the Wildcats with 16 kills, four aces, and four blocks in her return to her hometown. Despite trailing early in several sets, Arizona maintained competitive intensity until the final frame. Head coach Rita Stubbs noted that the team struggled to maintain its blocking aggression during the concluding sets. Arizona is scheduled to face Tulsa in its next match.
