Arizona Wildcats to compete in Shriners Children’s College Showdown in Texas

The Arizona Wildcats baseball team will open their 2027 season at the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, returning to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas from February 19-21, 2027. This marks their third appearance in the tournament within six seasons. Arizona is coming off a challenging 2025 season with a 19-34 record and will face strong competition, possibly including reigning College World Series champion Oklahoma. Matchups will be confirmed in the fall, as the Wildcats schedule a demanding nonconference slate, including a three-game series against UCLA.
