Arkansas baseball has secured a commitment from pitcher Lance Alexander, who is expected to join for the 2027 season. Alexander, a right-handed pitcher from Johnson County Community College, had a strong freshman year with three wins, a 4.47 ERA, and 67 strikeouts over 50⅓ innings. This signing marks Arkansas' second commitment of the 2026 offseason, aiming to rebuild their pitching staff. Earlier this month, left-handed pitcher Micah Henson also committed to the Razorbacks after a successful season at Crowder College. Arkansas’ team ERA of 4.74 in 2026 was one of their lowest in a decade, prompting the push for new talent on the roster.
