Armagh receive six nominations for the 2026 All-Star Football Awards

The 2026 All-Star Football Awards long list features six players from Armagh, including goalkeeper Brianna Mathers. Joining Mathers in the 45-player selection are Emily Druse, Lauren McConville, Blaithin Mackin, Aimee Mackin and Kelly Mallon. Galway leads the nominations with 14 players, reflecting their recent All-Ireland championship victory over Kerry. The runners-up from Kerry follow with 12 players recognized in the list. Additional representation includes three players each from Dublin and Cork, alongside two players apiece from Waterford, Kildare and Mayo. The final award recipients, including the Players' Player of the Year across three grades and the newest inductee into the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Hall of Fame, are scheduled to be announced on November 14.
