Florida A&M freshman quarterback Armond Parker helped the Rattlers overcome a two-touchdown deficit to defeat Alabama State 28-27 on October 9. After throwing back-to-back interceptions, Parker connected on two long touchdown passes to Armand Burris in the fourth quarter. FAMU's defense held strong, blocking Alabama State's last-minute field goal attempt.
