Arnold Mugerwa commits to Rutgers football for 2027 class

Wide receiver Arnold Mugerwa from Richland, PA, has committed to Rutgers football, marking the team's second receiver commitment for the 2027 recruiting class. Mugerwa, a 6-foot-3, 197-pound athlete, had an impressive junior season with 54 receptions for 1,020 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was rated as a high three-star prospect and chose Rutgers over offers from several Power Five programs, including Duke and Florida State. Mugerwa joins fellow wide receiver Jamar Taylor in the Scarlet Knights' recruiting class, and both players will work under receivers coach Dave Brock, known for developing talent.
