Arsenal denies Real Madrid's summer pursuit of Riccardo Calafiori

Summary

Real Madrid sought to acquire Riccardo Calafiori during the summer transfer window, but Arsenal stated that the defender was not available. This response shifted Madrid's focus to alternative targets, specifically Marc Cucurella. Arsenal considers Calafiori integral to their squad and views him as a long-term asset, with his contract running until 2029. While a transfer might not materialize soon, the situation could evolve depending on future market conditions and contract status. For now, Arsenal remains committed to retaining him within their core team.
