Arsenal eyes Vinicius as Madrid stands firm on contract offer

Summary

Real Madrid has no plans to enhance the contract proposal for Vinicius Jr., with negotiations at a standstill. The Brazilian winger will return to training on August 3, amid uncertainty regarding his future, as his current deal runs until June 2027. Despite desires from both player and club to extend their partnership, Real Madrid has declined to schedule further talks. Arsenal remains alert, considering an approach if Madrid's negotiations falter, recognizing the potential for a high-profile transfer. Time is a key factor, as Vinicius could enter the final six months of his contract in January 2027. Madrid could opt to sell him if an extension does not materialize soon.
