Arsenal in talks for Cristian Romero and Ezri Konsa ahead of season
Summary

Arsenal has initiated discussions with representatives for Cristian Romero of Tottenham Hotspur and Ezri Konsa of Aston Villa as part of their search for centre-back reinforcements. With William Saliba sidelined, manager Mikel Arteta aims to bolster the defensive lineup. Romero is reportedly open to a transfer, though Tottenham is reluctant to negotiate with their rivals. Aston Villa values Konsa at around £60m, and a deal could be more feasible. Arsenal is stepping up efforts to finalize a signing before the Premier League campaign begins.
