Arsenal interested in Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde for January transfer

Arsenal has shown interest in signing Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde, who is struggling for game time at the Catalan club. Balde's position has become uncertain under coach Hansi Flick, prompting speculation about a potential move to the Premier League in January. While Balde initially aimed to fight for his place at Barcelona, his lack of minutes may lead him to consider a switch to Arsenal. However, there are currently no formal negotiations or offers between the two clubs. Barcelona holds a strong negotiating position, with Balde's contract running until 2028, and could face a decision by next summer when his contract status changes significantly.
