Arsenal linked to Tottenham captain Cristian Romero amid transfer rumors

Summary

Reports suggest Arsenal is considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur captain Cristian Romero as his future at Spurs remains uncertain. The 28-year-old defender, who has reportedly fallen out of favor at Tottenham, fits Arsenal's needs due to injuries in their defense. However, selling a club captain to rivals Arsenal poses significant challenges for Spurs, both logistically and in terms of fan reaction. Romero's potential asking price is believed to have decreased from around £60 million. European clubs, including Inter Milan and Barcelona, are also monitoring his situation this summer.
