Arsenal negotiate to sign Villa defender Ezri Konsa
Summary

Arsenal is making progress in negotiations to sign defender Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa. The Gunners have renewed their pursuit of the England international after initial discussions stalled over a £60 million valuation from Villa. Recent reports indicate optimism that a compromise around £50 million plus add-ons can be reached following ownership-level talks. With key defensive players William Saliba and Jurrien Timber injured, Konsa’s versatility as a center-back and right-back makes him a primary target for Arsenal. The transfer negotiations continue, with both clubs keen to finalize the deal soon as Konsa returns from his post-World Cup break.
