Arsenal sells Jenna Nighswonger to Bay FC for £150,000

Arsenal has officially transferred defender Jenna Nighswonger to Bay FC on a permanent deal for a reported fee of £150,000. This move concludes Nighswonger's 18-month tenure with the Gunners, during which she made six appearances, five in the Women's Super League. Having initially joined Arsenal from Gotham FC for approximately £80,500, she struggled to find a consistent role under coach Renée Slegers and spent part of her time on loan at Aston Villa. With a contract until 2028 at Bay FC, Nighswonger aims to re-establish herself in the NWSL and strengthen her position with the U.S. national team.
