Arsenal has expressed interest in signing Jules Kounde from Barcelona, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Despite the interest, Arsenal has not made any concrete advances or offers for the defender, who recently returned to training after the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Kounde's role at Barcelona is uncertain, particularly with increased competition in the squad. He could either continue as a right-back or be considered for a central defense position due to a lack of depth there. For now, Kounde remains in training with Barcelona as discussions on his future continue.
