Arsenal signs Liverpool academy star Vincent Joseph on scholarship deal

Arsenal has completed the signing of Vincent Joseph, a 16-year-old striker from Liverpool's academy. Joseph had previously turned down a scholarship with Liverpool and has now agreed to a first-year scholarship with Arsenal. He is regarded as a promising talent, having scored three goals in two appearances for Liverpool's under-18 team last season and eight goals in nine matches for England's under-16s. The transfer fee will be determined by a tribunal, as the clubs could not agree on a price. Arsenal succeeded in acquiring Joseph despite competition from Chelsea and Manchester United.
