Arsenal has agreed to sign 18-year-old striker Igor Tyjon from Blackburn Rovers for an initial fee of £1 million, alongside add-ons and a 25% sell-on clause. Tyjon has already completed his medical with Arsenal, and the deal comes after lengthy negotiations that aimed to avoid a tribunal. He has had limited opportunities at Blackburn but managed to score seven goals and provide two assists in 21 youth team appearances last season.
