Arsenal travel to Napoli for Champions League match with Jurrien Timber

Arsenal confirmed that Jurrien Timber has joined the traveling squad for the upcoming Champions League fixture against Napoli on Wednesday. The defender, who has been recovering from a long-term injury since the spring, is in contention to play after making a limited appearance in the Champions League final this past May. The club's travel plans encountered significant disruption on Tuesday due to widespread air traffic control issues in the UK. Mikel Arteta and his team were delayed, forcing the cancellation of a scheduled pre-match press conference in Naples. UEFA granted the club permission to forgo these media duties as the squad is now not expected to arrive in Italy until approximately 9:30 p.m. local time.
