Arte Moreno has reached an agreement to sell the Los Angeles Angels to sports mogul Stan Kroenke for a reported $4 billion. The transaction marks the end of Moreno's 23-year tenure as owner, during which the franchise secured five division titles but failed to reach the postseason since 2014. The team currently holds the worst record in the American League at 53-85 and is facing a potential 100-loss season. Kroenke, who also owns the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids, and Arsenal, is expected to maintain the club's presence in Anaheim. The sale follows years of fan criticism and declining attendance, along with a recent front office restructuring led by John Mozeliak.
