Artem Dovbyk joins Bologna on loan from AS Roma

Summary

Artem Dovbyk is set to join Bologna on a season-long loan from AS Roma. His arrival follows a challenging time at Roma, where he faced injuries and coaching changes after transferring for €41 million in 2024. Dovbyk scored 20 goals in 63 appearances but did not meet the high expectations associated with his price tag. The loan agreement extends until June 2027, with Dovbyk traveling for a medical on Tuesday. This move offers him a chance to revitalize his career in Serie A, while Bologna aims to strengthen their squad.
