Arthur Fery advances in Cincinnati Open after Wimbledon semi-final run

Arthur Fery won his first match since reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals, defeating James Duckworth 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (4) at the Cincinnati Open. Fery, seeded 32nd and ranked 36th in the world, demonstrated resilience after Duckworth equalized the match. He will next face fifth seed Alex De Minaur. Novak Djokovic, in his first tournament since Wimbledon, suffered a surprising defeat against Thiago Agustin Tirante, losing 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 while struggling in humid conditions. Cameron Norrie lost a three-set match to Alexander Zverev 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
