Arturo Ruiz prepares Brighton for Women’s Super League opener against Arsenal

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Arturo Ruiz leads his team into their Barclays Women’s Super League season opener against Arsenal at the Broadfield Stadium today. The fixture serves as the competitive debut for Ruiz, who was appointed to the position only days ago following the departure of Dario Vidošić. Despite the short transition period, Ruiz has utilized recent training sessions and pre-season matches to establish a tactical identity for the squad. He describes the team as compact, aggressive, and confident heading into the matchup against The Gunners. Ruiz emphasized the need for patience as the club adjusts to his high-performance philosophy. The match is scheduled for a 12pm kickoff, marking the official start of the campaign for the Seagulls.
