A's Jacob Wilson exits early after being hit by pitch, Jeffrey Springs rehabs

In a game against the Texas Rangers on August 14, Jacob Wilson exited in the second inning after being hit on the right hand by a pitch from Kumar Rocker. Wilson, who was already dealing with a dislocated shoulder and patellar tendinitis, is considered day-to-day with a left hand contusion. The A's won the game 8-3, with Jeff McNeil achieving four hits including a home run. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Springs made his first rehab start in Stockton, throwing three innings and allowing three runs, one earned, as he works to return to the A's rotation.
