AS Roma has officially become the first football club in history to feature every squad number from 1 to 99. The milestone was reached following the signing of Rodrigo Mora, who selected the number 86 shirt. This specific number was the final vacant digit in the club's 1-99 series. While other Serie A clubs allow players to choose unusual or high-indexed numbers, such a feat remains impossible in leagues like the Bundesliga or La Liga. Stricter roster regulations in those regions prohibit the use of high numbers that contribute to such a full numerical sequence. At AS Roma, players like Mile Svilar have already utilized the number 99 jersey, while the club previously assigned number 90 to Lukaku.
