Asher Dannenbring places third at Mitchell Invitational golf tournament

Asher Dannenbring of Mitchell finished third in the Mitchell Invitational at Lakeview Golf Course on September 18. He shot a 2-under-par 70, ending just behind Braxton Hollan of Sioux Falls Lincoln, who won with a 3-under 69. Brody Hermann, also from Lincoln, secured second place with another 2-under 70. Dannenbring's strong start included an eagle, but late bogeys affected his final score. The Mitchell team ended the tournament with a total of 308 strokes, placing them eighth overall. They will compete next at the Watertown Invitational on September 22.
