Asher Hauert from Harrisburg and Halle Braun from Sioux Falls Christian have been recognized as the Argus Leader's Athletes of the Week for May 25-30. Hauert secured the boys title with 56.0% of the vote after his impressive performance in the 110-meter hurdles, where he posted the second-fastest time in South Dakota history at 14.05 seconds. He also contributed to Harrisburg's strong relays. Braun earned the girls title with 70.06% of the vote, winning four Class A state championships, including setting three meet records and one state record in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 43.22 seconds.
