Asheville Tourists defeat Hub City Spartanburgers 10-8 in Asheville

The Asheville Tourists secured a 10-8 victory against the Hub City Spartanburgers on July 1 at HomeTrust Park. Asheville's offense exploded early, scoring ten runs, led by Yeriel Santos, who pitched six scoreless innings. Despite Asheville's lead, Spartanburg made a late rally, scoring three runs in the eighth and two more in the ninth, but ultimately fell short. Chase Call hit a notable 440-foot home run, contributing five RBIs for the Tourists. Asheville has taken sole possession of first place in the South Atlantic League Southern Division after their sixth consecutive win.
