Ashley Phillips attracting Middlesbrough's £10m transfer interest from Spurs

Ashley Phillips is linked with a potential £10m move to Middlesbrough from Tottenham Hotspur, with the club looking to bolster their roster for the upcoming Championship season. Sources indicate Phillips is also receiving interest from several other English teams and abroad. The player has yet to make an appearance for Spurs and spent the last two seasons on loan at Stoke City. Tottenham seems inclined to sell him after acquiring him for £2.5m three years ago. Blackburn Rovers holds a 15% sell-on clause in Phillips' contract, impacting any future sale.
