Asterisk Talley helps United States win Junior Solheim Cup in Netherlands

Asterisk Talley helped the United States secure a 13-11 victory over Europe at the Junior Solheim Cup held at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. Although she lost her individual singles match against Annabel Peaford, Talley served as a leader for the U.S. squad during the event. The 17-year-old amateur golfer has gained significant attention following top finishes at major events, including a win at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship in August. Talley previously finished as the runner-up at the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur and placed fourth in that tournament earlier this year. Despite having the option to turn professional on the LPGA Tour, Talley intends to attend Stanford next year. She plans to continue competing as an amateur in select LPGA events while focusing on her long-term development in the sport.
