Aston Villa considers transfer for Dortmund winger Adeyemi this summer

Summary

Aston Villa is reportedly interested in signing Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund. With Adeyemi's contract set to expire in 2027, Dortmund may look to sell this summer. The 24-year-old has expressed openness to a move. However, discussions over a contract extension have stalled, with suspicions that Adeyemi aims for a lucrative free transfer instead. Adeyemi joined Dortmund in 2022 and had a productive 2025/26 season, scoring 10 goals and assisting six times.
