Aston Villa could face January offer for Matteo Ruggeri from Fiorentina

Summary

Aston Villa's Matteo Ruggeri has attracted interest from Fiorentina, who may pursue him in January. The 24-year-old left-back has had limited playing time since his move from Atlético Madrid this summer, making only four appearances in all competitions. Despite this, Ruggeri's performance in a recent Premier League match against Tottenham suggests he has potential to contribute more significantly. Villa's commitment to Ruggeri is reflected in his long-term contract, which runs until 2031, indicating they may resist a sale.
