Aston Villa pursue Jean-Clair Todibo after loss of Joel Ordonez
Summary

Aston Villa is targeting West Ham United defender Jean-Clair Todibo following the departure of Joel Ordonez to Crystal Palace. French outlet Foot Mercato reports that Villa manager Unai Emery is looking for alternatives after losing Ordonez. Todibo is available for a permanent deal after a fallout with West Ham's Nuno Espirito Santo, and he has a verbal agreement with Marseille, contingent on player sales. Villa, coming off a 4-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, seeks to strengthen their defense, with Todibo seen as a suitable option to replace Ezri Konsa.
