Aston Villa pursues permanent transfer of Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea
Summary

Aston Villa is looking to sign Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, aiming for a permanent transfer. Unai Emery, having previously coached Jackson at Villarreal, is interested in reuniting with the player. A loan deal is not feasible due to Premier League rules, as Villa has already signed Alejandro Garnacho on loan from Chelsea this summer. Jackson, having recently spent a season on loan at Bayern Munich where he scored 11 goals, did not meet appearance criteria for a permanent transfer to the German club. Chelsea's asking price for Jackson remains unclear, though he is under contract until 2033.
